Retro Game Boy and Game Boy Color games will soon join the Switch Online subscription service

Are Retro GameBoy and GameBoy Color games finally coming to Switch Online?

Nintendo maybe releasing its retro games to the Nintendo Switch. Many of our greatest childhood memories from the Game Boy and Game Boy Color games will soon join the 100-plus NES and SNES games that Nintendo offers via its Switch Online subscription service, according to rumors from the “Nate the Hate” podcast and again on Friday by Eurogamer.

There are no details on which titles may arrive but we can at least hope our favorites are among them. Nintendo is very slowly releasing NES and SNES library games for Switch, and many titles like Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG are still missing to date. But it makes sense that Nintendo release more classic content, especially with its competitors capitalize on remakes, remasters and next-gen patches that make older games look fresh and better.
