Apple announces the iPad 9 generation with A13 Bionic Chip
Apple has announced the ninth generation of its popular tablet – the iPad. This new model is the latest iPad that first debuted in 2010, and it features a new processor called the A13 Bionic Chip. Additionally, there’s the front camera comes with 12-megapixel that supports the Center Stage feature that was first introduced with the iPad Pro last year. The rest of the Apple iPad 9 generation is very familiar, the bezels, single rear camera, home button and lightning charging port.
According to Apple the new A13 Bionic processor is 20 percent faster than the previous model. The 10.2-inch display is the same size and resolution as before, but it now supports the True Tone feature that automatically adjusts the screen’s color temperature to ambient lighting.

The latest iPad 9 generation will be delivered with iPadOS 15, which was announced earlier in 2021 and includes improvements to the iPad’s homescreen, multitasking features and app organization.
Apple has bumped the base-model storage to 64GB and kept the starting price the same at $329. The iPad is also compatible with the first-generation Apple Pencil and the Apple Smart Keyboard. It will be available in silver or space gray and can be ordered now. Deliveries have already started.
